There is a gale warning in effect until 1:00 pm this afternoon. I can hear the wind pick up outside my window as I prepare this post. There is a wind advisory until 1:00 pm as well.

The low tide of 2.15 feet was at 7:38 am and we’re heading towards a high tide of 11.35 feet at 2:29 pm.

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington.

* WHEN...From 5 AM early this morning to 1 PM PDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
