Kingfisher

It must be my lucky day…I’ve always wanted to capture a photo of a Kingfisher (I think they kind of look like Joe Pesci, if Joe was a bird).   I was getting ready for Thanksgiving and out my window I spied this guy flying in place, eyeying his prey.Dsc_0005

Happy HOLLY-days

One neighbors major pruning can be another neighbors holiday arrangement.   The Burkholders, owners of Screamer Hats (we could all wear a Screamer Hat today–brrrr) say the neighbors are welcome to prune some holly from their downed holly tree.    You’ll find this tree near the south end of Emma Schmitz Memorial Viewpoint.

US Army Corps of Engineers in Puget Sound

I’m not exactly sure what the US Army Corps of Engineers is doing in the Puget Sound right now (just south of Emma Schmitz Memorial View Point)…but it makes for some interesting photos.

Trulia Hindsight

Trulia Hindsight is an interesting internet tool that shows you when homes where built within a specific area using pop-up color coded dots over a map.

Check out Beach Drive.
