This little fella was singing in our garden this morning.
I think he’s happy about his fresh sugar water in his feeder for Thanksgiving!
I really can’t tell…I’m not an expert. I just happened to spy this bird when I was walking my dog a few moments ago.
West Seattle Blog just posted a plea for help. There is a baby seal (quite possibly the one who’s been floating around here) that is tangled in fishing wire right NOW.
If you have experience in animal rescue, your help is needed at 65th and Beach Drive.

I flipped through our bird book…however it’s better for decorating a coffee table than finding out what kind of duck this is.
This fellow was smaller than the seal we call "Bob"…we’re thinking he’s a pup. He was wading close to shore this morning and decided to "stay in". Probably after realizing that our beach is not like sandy Alki.
