We received this email today:
Found a kayak floating (nearly submerged) Wednesday 11/26 along Beach Drive – pulled to shore and emptied.
Would like to find the owner to return.

Could very well be from one of the apartment units that caught on fire. The firemen were setting them down on the beach to clear the place out. I set one back on the bulkhead later on that evening.
