Found Cat by LaRustica

Stray kitty
I live at about 4100 Beach Drive (Near La Rustica), and tonight at about midnight I found a darling little cat on my front porch. He/she is very loving and seems well cared for, but no collar. I went back inside, leaving the cat outside, thinking he/she would wander back home. But, no, the cat stayed on my porch looking through the window, and then settled onto one of my porch chairs. I'm hoping you can help me find the owner, since the cat is too well cared for to think it's been on the street for long.

Alas, I can't keep the cat for any length of time. I am allergic to cats, and I have an adopted rescue dog, who has only been in my home for a few months…so the darling cat won't work as a temporary or permanent addition.

Are You Missing a Dog Bowl and Stainless Yard Lights?

Looks like someone ditched these items at 4717 Beach Drive in West Seattle.  They are sitting in the shrubry if they belong to you.

Baseball Bat and Bag Found (last year–woops!)

Last Sunday, we received this comment on the Mother's Day post:

We found a baseball bat and bag at the end of season last year at EC Hughes field, then moved it an all our stuff into storage during a remodel, and have only just found it again.
The bag has a bat in it with the name Henry R. Anyone know this kid? We feel bad that it's been missing in action this long, and would love to return it.
We'll gladly return bat and bag to you. sorry for long delay.

Are You Missing a Bike?

There is a purple bike that seems to be abandoned at Emma Schmitz View Point.  It's been there for a couple of days and in this weather (local report states possible snow!), I'm assuming someone has left it.

Missing Husky

I was just walking my dog by Angeline and Beach Drive where a lady was frantically calling for her dog.  She told me that he was last seen running south on Beach Drive.  I wasn't able to get her contact info–I'm hoping she lives on Angeline…I believe she drives a Volvo sedan.

Please keep a look out for a Husky who's missing his human.

Lost: “White Mop” Puppy (update: he’s found)

Update 12/14: the puppy has been reunited with it's humans…tails are a waggin'.

When we returned from Alki and the Christmas ships, this message was waiting:

"My husband is just in from the evening dog walk around Bar-S (with snow) and mentioned he ran into a guy looking for his lost puppy.  Unfortunately limited information: white puppy, looks like a mop, lost today but does have a tag, if you run into it (don't know male or female) the tag has contact info.

Sorry we don't have more info, but on a cold wintry night the guy was is looking all over."
If you have any additional information, please send an email to let us know so we can update the post.
