Barking Dog Report: Wind Wind and more Wind

If the current forecast holds true, we’re going to be in for some very windy wet weather. As I write this, we’re just past high tide for today and our next big high tide is tomorrow afternoon at 1:42 pm at 11.64 feet.

Wind Alert‘s forecast shows potential gusts from 39-47 mph starting tonight around 9:00 pm with the potential for significant gusts through Monday afternoon. Yowzers!

Here is the marine forecast:

Monday’s high tide is an 11.54 at 2:12 pm. According to Wind Alert’s current forecast, the wind “should” be simmering down around noon.

It looks like tomorrow’s high tide around 1:42 pm is the best chance for some potential flooding IF we have 5 foot wind waves with tides of 11.64 feet (possibly higher if we have coastal flooding).
