Round 1 of the Windy Weather…More in the Forecast

This afternoon, the strong winds brought down large branches from our cork screw willow. Thankfully nobody was hurt and no cars were parked here when this happened. Our wonderful neighbors all chipped in to help remove the downed branches.

There is still more wind in the forecast with a small craft advisory in effect through tomorrow night. The current forecast from Wind Alert looks like we’ll be dealing with wind through Wednesday.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT

 TONIGHT  S wind 20 to 30 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. A slight  chance of tstms in the evening. A chance of rain after midnight.

 MON  S wind 20 to 30 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. Rain.  

MON NIGHT  S wind 20 to 30 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. Rain.  

TUE  S wind 15 to 25 kt easing to 10 to 20 kt in the afternoon.  Wind waves 2 to 4 ft.

 TUE NIGHT  S wind 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 2 to 4 ft.

 WED  SW wind 15 to 25 kt easing to 5 to 15 kt in the afternoon.  Wind waves 2 to 4 ft subsiding to 2 ft or less in the afternoon.

Right now it seems pretty calm…we’ll see what Mother Nature has in store. Stay safe, Neighbors!
